I made Flutter Installer using Flutter 🚀

My name is Yazeed AlKhalaf. I am 16 years old. I am living in Saudi Arabia, originally from Syria. I like Flutter, Google’s Dart framework. I have been using it since the early beta.

Hi great people, Have you ever thought about having a Flutter Installer? I had too! 😁🚀

I started thinking about the idea of making a Flutter Installer since I got asked frequently about:

How to install Flutter?

Guess what I chose for building it? You’re right, Flutter!

So I decided to make one, and magically I found this tweet from Chris Sells and eagerly replied with:

I am happy and eager to work on a macOS or Windows installer also 💙😎

Then he sent his email, at that moment I was really happy!

I reached out to him and we made a meeting and he liked the idea. So I started working on it. At the time of writing this blog post, the app is ready at v0.0.3 and fully working on all three desktop platforms, thanks to Flutter!

After some time from working on the project, Chris Sells asked if I would like to show the app to the material team. Without thinking I said SURE!
